On 22 July 2024, PNP Foundation initiated a youth music artists engagement focused on positive messaging and community connection. This activity was marked by the release of a collaborative song titled “UNITY”, performed by eight upcoming youth artists.
The song brought together voices from different backgrounds and was delivered in eight different languages, reflecting diversity, coexistence, and shared values within the community. Through music, the artists conveyed messages of peace, encouragement, and mutual understanding to both refugee and host communities.
The release of “UNITY” reached audiences within Uganda and beyond, including refugees and non-refugees. The song was widely received and discussed, particularly for its inclusive message and the way it represented young people expressing shared aspirations through creative arts.
This activity highlighted the role of creative expression as a tool for social connection, cultural exchange, and positive engagement among youth. The song link is available at the end of this section for reference.
